Below is a list of the Generator Outages we can Expect for the remainder of 2024.
- TALWB & TALWA1 there is a 4 day overlap with the VNI/QNI outages, with a 2 weeks VNI limit.
- Coal Capacity will be at one of the lowest levels seen in Q3 so far (Without unplanned outages)
- Significant planned gas outages within October, 4x Uranquinty gas units & TALWA1
- All Braemar Gas Units being part of the outages is significant, as arrow won’t have additional capacity.
It will be necessary to watch the market prices throughout October and November 2024 as these outages will place pressure on the supply/demand curve. Add to the Mix the hotter weather, along with the bidding behaviour of available generators.
